About Internet Business Applications

Offered every semester at University of San Francisco (USF), the Internet Business Applications (BUS 370 for undergraduates, MSEI 502 for graduates) course is designed to guide and support students from all disciplines in creating online businesses by utilizing open-source and industry-standard tools and software. Today, creating and managing online presence is a common thread that runs through all businesses, organizations and much of one’s life. Students learn how to create and manage online presence through lectures, weekly assignments, online activities, in-class exercises, guest speakers, and a course project. The curriculum also encourages students to take advantage of campus and online resources including USF Career Services and USF Instructional Technologies including LinkedIn Learning, Portfolium, and USF Blog.
